Kampung Kita: Leave No One Behind
About the campaign:
Every day, we walk past them in our neighbourhood— a single mother skipping a meal for her kids, or a rough sleeper looking for a safe space to rest, or a youth worried about his school fees.
As Singapore celebrates its 61st National Day, we look at our shining city with pride. But a true Kampung is only as strong as its most vulnerable member. This National Day, our mission is clear: We leave no one behind.
“Kampung Kita” (Our Village) is a celebration of our community, bringing hope and dignity to the hidden corners of Serangoon and Hougang. Your donation directly funds the programs of Bless Community Services (BCS) to help the vulnerable in our community.
The Real Faces of Our Kampung ❤️
Your gift provides an immediate lifeline to those fighting quiet battles:
Bursaries for Brighter Futures (Youths & Children): Lift the weight of transport and school needs. Like Hadhari, whose mother is the sole breadwinner, who shares: “I just want to do my best for my ‘O’ Levels and make my mom proud.” Or Dafina, who was inspired to pay it forward: “The bursary allowed me to sincerely give back to the community.”
Food & Dignity (Neighbourhood Assistance Fund): Help the families in crisis through financial assistance and food rations. When Mr A suddenly lost his job due to a medical condition, food rations protected his family of four during his job search. For Mr L, an isolated senior with weak legs, your kindness brings daily relief: “Thank you for the food rations… this is helpful for an elderly person like me.”
Shelter & Restoration (Homeless & Rough Sleepers): BCS transforms night shelters into safe “Retreat Places,” guiding rough sleepers off the streets and towards personal wellbeing, permanent housing, and stable jobs.
National Day is about more than fireworks; it is a celebration of mutual care. Hadhari, Dafina, Mr A, and Mr L are our neighbours. When you donate, you tell them they are not forgotten.
Donate today and be the blessing our kampung needs.
