Fundraising activities for FY24 – 26 (Apr 2024 to Aug 2026)
Kampung Kita: Leave No One Behind
Campaign Period: 15 Jun 2026 – 14 Aug 2026
Funds raised support the following:
Bursaries for Brighter Futures (Youths & Children): Lifting the weight of transport and school needs for students in need.
Food & Dignity (Neighbourhood Assistance Fund): Helping families in crisis through financial assistance and food rations.
Shelter & Restoration (Homeless & Rough Sleepers): Supporting BCS’ four Safe Sound Sleeping Place (S3P) night shelters for the homeless and rough sleepers. Our vision is to transform these shelters into safe “Retreat Places,” guiding rough sleepers off the streets and towards personal wellbeing, permanent housing, and stable jobs.
From Shelter to Sanctuary – Transforming night shelters for the Homeless into retreat places
Campaign Period: 15 Dec 2025 – 20 Mar 2026
Funds raised to transform the BCS S3P night shelters into “Retreat Places.” This transformation goes beyond providing basic shelter, emphasizing refreshment, recovery, and renewal for individuals experiencing homelessness.
Combat Loneliness & Memory Loss for Seniors: SWEE!-Got-Talent
Campaign Period: 8 Sept 2025 – 30 Nov 2025
Funds raised support seniors to be active and productive through virous programmes (extend and expand). In our SWEE!-Got-Talent showcase, seniors also share their creativity to raise awareness for the homeless, promoting active and productive ageing while inspiring the community.
Charity Golf Tournament and Dinner
Period: 1 February 2025 to 21 August 2025
Funds were raised to cover the cost of operating 5 S3Ps (Safe, Sound Sleeping Place) which are temporary night shelters to serve the homeless, and providing practical and socio-emotional support for the S3P stayers.
New Year Blessings
“New Year Blessings”, Gift Package sponsorship, packing and distribution by Covenant Chambers LLC volunteering held on 18 January 2025
Campaign Period: 16 December 2024 to 21 February 2025
Funds raised went towards an interim financial assistance fund (Neighbourhood Assistance Fund), food rations, gifts for visitations to residents, special care packages distributed to our current or ex-beneficiaries, and for bursary awardees living in or studying in these two neighbourhoods.
Together We Thrive
“Together We Thrive”, Learning Journey at S3P@YCKC conducted for Philip Nova Pte Ltd held on 9 November 2024
Campaign Period: 9 November 2024 to 31 December 2024
Funds were raised to deepen social connections for our S3P stayers through more social recreational activities and befriending by volunteers.
